Saving Tempestor Kane

Olaf Bitterfrost and his scouts picked their way silently through the streets of Festungrad, appearing only as shadows, dispatching cultists of the Perfect Path before their presence was even known.

Sven Keenear picked up a faint vox signal on is comms. With a little fine tuning to strengthen the signal, Sven broadcast the message to all the members of his squad.
Pegasus Company was nearby and in dire need. A lone Tempestor has survived a brutal attack and requires aide.
Olaf gives the signal to move out and offer any assistance to Tempestor Kane.
Kane's beacon lead the Wolves into a hab block that by the looks of things appeared to be the setting of a fierce battle only recently. As they picked through the streets their Auspex scanners indicated that Tempestor can was close, but so were members of the Perfect Path, apparently searching for Kane themselves.
The wolves snuck ever closer to their enemy. Suddenly Olaf spotted a group of cultists pull Tempestor Kane out into the street from a nearby building.
Olaf gave the order to open fire.
Many cultists fell under a storm of frag missiles and heavy bolter rounds.
As the cult opened fire on their attackers
Ludwig Rank, the leader of the mob, sheltered behind Kane as he forced the Tempestor into some ruins, and ordered his fellow cultists to defend him.
As the Wolves laid down a torrent of fire onto the streets Olaf and Laud raced along the side of the ruin to the back unnoticed by the heretics.
Caught between two fronts the cultists were trapped and quickly gunned down, freeing Tempestor Kane from their evil clutches. Ludwig begged the Wolves for mercy, but was given none. Thus is the fate of those who fall from the Emperor's light.  With the bark of a bolt pistol, Ludwig fell to the rubble strewn ground, a stump where his head used to be.
Tempestor Kane dusted himself off and retrieved his arms. The grateful Tempestor bent his knee to the old Wolf and thanked him and said Emperor for saving his life.
He informed the Astartes that the Perfect Path was more than the average cult, they were well equipped and seemed to have been given more training than the average rabble.
